Justin C. Aday of Montgomery Selected to Become Director of Admissions for The Alabama State Bar

Montgomery, Alabama, January 2, 2014 – Justin C. Aday of Montgomery has been named director of admissions for the Alabama State Bar, according to Executive Director Keith B. Norman. He will succeed the current director, Dorothy Johnson, upon her retirement in August 2014, after serving 22 years.
State Bar President Anthony A. Joseph of Birmingham (Maynard Cooper & Gale PC) said, “Maintaining the standards of the legal profession and ensuring the competent delivery of legal services are the highest priorities of the state bar and it all starts with the admissions process. The skills and professionalism that Justin brings to our regulatory program will help us ensure the integrity of the process for those who are admitted to the bar.”
Aday received his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama and graduated cum laude from the Thomas Goode Jones School of Law (2010). He also received a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Alabama.
Prior to joining the Alabama State Bar, Aday was a legislative fiscal analyst and Director of Elections for Montgomery County.
In the community, Aday is a deacon in the First Baptist Church and a member of the Kiwanis Club. His professional memberships include the Alabama State Bar, the American Bar Association and the Hugh Maddox Chapter of the Inns of Court.
